LEADING ACOUSTIC SYSTEMS

We have developed a comprehensive range of high-quality bio-based polyurethane acoustic underlayment systems and decoupling products. Each solution is engineered to provide optimal acoustic performance for the specific requirements of each type of floor covering – Laminate, Wood, Polyurethane, LVT, Carpet and Ceramic.

Underlayments are produced with ecuran, our innovative bio-based polyurethane composite material made primarily from plant-based oils and naturally occurring minerals such as chalk. Our award-winning and highly certified acoustic systems are produced in 100% CO2 neutral facilities with the highest quality natural raw materials.

Laminate + Wood

Acoustic systems for laminate and wood floor coverings have specific requirements. Reducing the noise from both impact and footfall are particularly important here.

We have developed a product portfolio of long-lasting, dimensionally-stable and noise-absorbing underlayments, based on polyurethane which can be adapted to your requirements and needs in almost every respect.

Polyurethane + LVT

Acoustic requirements for polyurethane and LVT floorings (e.g. heterogeneous flooring coverings) differ significantly from other types of flooring. For these products, underlayment must take into account residual point-load performance, the permanent pressure stability (static and dynamic), and the impact sound reduction.

We are continuously updating and expanding our range of acoustic systems for the on-going developments in flooring. This includes solutions for glue-down LVT, click systems, loose-lay and multi-faceted, resilient floorings.

Ceramic

Permanent noise has a direct impact on health and causes internal stress. One aspect of this is impact sound levels, particularly with ceramic flooring. Full-surface gluing of ceramic floorings to the base layer is an exceptional way of reducing noise. However, the impact is transmitted directly to the rooms below.

In addition to improving the acoustic impact sound, a permanently intact bond must be created that can achieve sustainable pressure stability as well as a surface that remains intact without any problems. These additional, physical decoupling characteristics are achieved through the top-quality processing of carefully selected raw materials.  Only a permanently functioning system can guarantee absolute customer satisfaction.

Carpet

As versatile as textile floor coverings and carpet systems can be, so diverse are the possibilities for acoustic systems and installation underlayments. The installation application will often have specific requirements.

The primary focus is preventing slips and avoiding accidents, enabling exceptional impact noise reduction, and enhancing walking comfort. Underlayments are developed and tested to comply with fire classifications, chair castor suitability and environmental compatibility.
